What do cooked eggs, Valentine's Day bouquets and AI have in common?

At HARVEST 2026, they all became lessons in how curiosity, trust and a fresh look at customer problems pave the way for growth. Reaktor Ecosystem's annual seminar brought together leaders eager to learn from each other. Here are the quotes that stuck with us.

Stay curious

“We should be curious about human connection and how different ways of working should be strengthened in the age of AI.”
– Pekka Horo, CEO at Reaktor

"Take cooking eggs: I do it differently every time, because I'm curious about what the best way is."
– Mika Sutinen, Chairperson of the Board at Reaktor

"Any leadership team can try this: present your plan to AI and ask what’s missing. The questions it raises often take the thinking further than any ready-made answer would. Much like a good board, its role is to challenge, not to decide."
– Pekka Horo, CEO at Reaktor

Rethink the customer moment

"The next opportunity might not be a product, but a moment in your customer's journey that you might want to reimagine."
– Krista Pohjanlehto, General Manager at Uber Eats Finland

"Last Valentine's Day, we delivered 150,000 bouquets of flowers. And here's the fun part: these deliveries came either super late or very early."
– Krista Pohjanlehto, General Manager at Uber Eats Finland

AI is not your edge, but your data is

"I'm Marko, and I'm here to tell you that AI is not your competitive advantage."
– Marko Aalto, VP of Data and AI at Reaktor

"Know thy data, because your data fuels your AI."
– Marko Aalto, VP of Data and AI at Reaktor

"The bottleneck is no longer the outcome, it's how we keep our sanity. Human attention becomes a luxury."
– Oskari Liukkonen, CEO and Co-founder at Kaiku

"Where does this land? Let me be honest. Nobody knows."
– Oskari Liukkonen, CEO and Co-founder at Kaiku

Lead with trust and transparency

"Every executive needs to be deep in the details, which goes against the dogma of delegation."
– Tuomas Autero, Country Manager Finland at Revolut

"You give people so much responsibility that it feels almost too much for them. That creates ownership."
– Sarita Runeberg, CEO at Maria 01

"Communication and maximum transparency bring about commitment. And be extra transparent with bad news."
– Carl Haglund, CEO at KH Group Plc

Looking ahead

The talks sparked plenty of discussion both during breaks and after the last speakers left the stage. The conversations don’t have to stay at HARVEST though. Here are a few questions to get you thinking about what next:

On curiosity: When did you last change the way you did something just for the sake of trying out new ways?

On rethinking customer moments: What’s your business’s “one-hour delivery moment”, meaning something that brings extra value to your customers?

On data and AI: If everyone has access to the same AI tools, what in your own data makes you different?

On leading with trust: Are your leaders close enough to the details to make good decisions?
