Liminal’s story starts with the shared journey of its founders, Giuseppe Coco and Petra Kyntäjä-Saari.
Same same but different
Giu and Petra come from different backgrounds with pieces that click into
place like a jigsaw puzzle.
Giu brings deep technical expertise and a strong ability to apply it to complex, scalable business needs. His career began in the wealth management sector before gradually moving into the heart of technology. As a technical advisor, he frames the challenge in business terms first and then identifies the technology that best supports it.
Petra has close to a decade of experience in the IT industry, working across a wide range of initiatives as a project manager and people lead for software developers. She focuses on how people, teams, and structures support sustainable growth and strategic decision-making.

Chance encounters
It’s hard not to wonder how random meeting the right people at work really is. Is it pure chance to end up in the same company, on the same team, and eventually working side by side with someone you simply click with? Maybe. Giu and Petra certainly got lucky.
These two have worked as a tight-knit duo since 2024, successfully co-leading a business unit of 40+ cross-functional experts across software development and delivery. The collaboration quickly translated into results, both in business growth and team satisfaction. In leadership and day-to-day work alike, responsibility was shared, ownership was clear, and things had a habit of getting done.
Off to a kick-start the Liminal way
That strong sense of ownership naturally led to a simple question: What if we put this same commitment into building something of our own? That question turned into action and Liminal was co-created.
Once the decision was made, things moved the same way Liminal operates
today: smart and quick. Within a month, the first client engagement was already underway. A solid start, but the focus is very much on what comes next.
Right now, the goal is to build a top-tier team around Liminal’s foundation: a
workplace where everyone can genuinely influence the work, the value
created for clients, and the direction Liminal takes as it grows. For clients,
Liminal helps make smart and practical technology choices. Solutions that just make sense.
