HARVEST 2025 – organized by Reaktor Ecosystem, Reaktor and ecosystem partner companies – brought together 200 leaders to share their learnings and hear the latest lessons through empowering keynotes, fruitful roundtables and discussions. The main topic of the event was Thriving in Uncertainty, and the season’s themes were AI, Data, and Security.

“AI has been the hype term… But data is still the difficult part.” – Samuli Savo, Lead of Reaktor Ecosystem

Let’s cut through the hype: progress happens when you first fix data access, pick a few high-value AI use cases, and treat security as a default.

Thriving in uncertainty means trading the illusion of perfect visibility for confident action. You won’t see everything – and that’s fine. The work is to build confidence in not knowing, run smart experiments, and to learn your way into what works.

“Explore what’s out there. You don’t need to have the full picture.” – Riikka Uimonen, PhD, Investment Director of Reaktor Ecosystem

    Confident > certain

To thrive in uncertainty, it is more important to focus on building confidence rather than certainty. Progress doesn’t require certainty, just momentum and a team that’s comfortable moving together without the full picture. Create more options now, so tomorrow has more ways to win.

“Confidence is being comfortable of not knowing.” – Riikka Uimonen, PhD, Investment Director of Reaktor Ecosystem

Resilience & agility as key elements for navigating in uncertainty

Resilience and agility are the twin engines for navigating uncertainty. Resilience is the capacity to absorb shocks and return to form quickly, while agility is the habit of spotting shifts early and adjusting before they become setbacks.

“You need to build the resilience: if you fall, you can get up easily. Or you have the agility so you don’t fall in the first place.” – Riikka Uimonen, PhD, Investment Director of Reaktor Ecosystem

Invest in learning + create progress

Progress comes from motion. Shorten the path from idea to experiment, invest in learning, and let evidence lead the way. You can’t know what works without trying, build experiments to discover.

“Move forward. Create progress, and learn.” – Riikka Uimonen, PhD, Investment Director of Reaktor Ecosystem
